WES PRINCE

Wes PrinceWes Prince, a native of Beckley, West Virginia, is a 2017 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law. Prior to attending law school, Wes attended Concord University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and was elected and served as the Student Body President. Upon graduating from Concord, Wes set his sights abroad and attended St. John’s University in Rome, Italy where he earned a Master’s Degree in International Relations with a Certificate in International Law and Diplomacy. While attending St. John’s, Wes served in the United States Department of State focusing on issues arising from international adoptions with Eastern European and Central Asian nations.

Upon graduating from St. John’s, Wes enrolled in law school at WVU. During law school, Wes clerked for The Honorable Robert Trumble, United States Magistrate Judge in Martinsburg, WV, and interned with the Federal Public Defenders Office in Charleston, WV. Both experiences provided Wes with a deep understanding of federal criminal law and criminal procedure. During his third year of law school, Wes was a member of the Child and Family Law Clinic where he represented clients in numerous family law and education law cases. Also, Wes represented the College of Law at several mock trial competitions throughout the country and was a finalist for the 2015 MABLSA mock trial competition in Philadelphia, PA and 2017 Marlyn E. Lugar trial competition in Morgantown, WV. Lastly, Wes graduated from the WVU College of Law having earned the Order of the Barristers award.

Wes understands the importance of being willing and able to go to trial as he has already tried a personal injury case to verdict recovering substantial compensation for his client.
